1095-A and 8962

I received a 1095-A from Healthcare.gov. Only part A of the form was populated since I elected to receive all of the PTC when I file my taxes. I charged all of the healthcare premiums on my credit card for rewards.

Column B of the 1095 is blank. According to healthcare.gov, I'm supposed to retrieve the information for the SLCSP and enter that information into column B on the form 8962. When I open the 8962 form in TT, the form does not allow me to enter the column B information for each of the 12 months. As an FYI, I can enter the SLCSP information into the original 1095-A but then the information in TT would not match the actual 1095-A.

You don't enter it on the 8962 in the program, you need to enter it on the 1095-A in the program.  You need to do that regardless of what the actual 1095-A shows.

Crazy. Thanks for the response. I originally noticed I could do it that way, but I thought I might run into problems with the 1095-A not matching. It is odd that the govt. did not populate column B on the form as they have all of that data. Then again, it is the government.
