There may be a partial entry that needs to be deleted. Try this:

  1. Use the search toward the upper right corner to search for Alimony paid.
  2. Click on Jump to alimony paid.
  3. Under where it says Review your recipient info, click on the trash can icon to the right of Review.
  4. Confirm that you want to delete it.
  5. Select Review and run the final check again.

If in fact you are still together, and there is no alimony involved anywhere.  You can leave it blank.

Appreciate your answer but I have tried leaving it blank and when I go to review it still shows as needing a dated of div/sep.  I have looked elsewhere and I believe it shows us as married, filing jointly, etc. I believe this the thing that keeps me from filing in line.  I have been over this several times and can't seem to correct it.

Please help.   Bob
