I lived in Maryland for 4 months with no earned income (just pension) but had withholdings. Now a resident of Florida, how to I get the withholding funds from Maryland?

Since you resided in Maryland for four months, you need to file your Maryland state return as a part-year resident to get a refund of those state taxes that were withheld.
I recommend you review the following to ensure your returns are calculated correctly.
In the "My Info" section of TurboTax, confirm that you have entered the correct state information:
This will then allow you to enter your information for the part-year resident Maryland state return.
You will be able to enter your pension distributions in the Federal income section as follows:
Be sure to enter your state withholdings in this section.
Thanks for your response...my concern is that I didn't earn any monies while living in Maryland for the four months. My wife and I have Federal Government Pensions and Social Security. Do I still enter monies under other Income?
If you were a resident of Maryland for any part of 2020, all the the income you received during that period of residency is subject to MD state income tax (MD does exempt social security payments from state tax).
File a part-year resident MD and report the income received and taxes withheld while a resident of MD. Depending on your total family income and state tax withheld, you may receive a refund of MD taxes paid.
