How would i know which papers should i need to send to NJ state and NY State as well as Federal...?

When you print your return, the header of each page for a State return will include the name of the State. Be sure you follow the instructions in case you need to include a copy of your Federal return with your State filing.

IRS forms have four-digit numbers (Form 1040) or schedules with letters (A, C, E) and "Form 1040."

If you e-file, TurboTax automatically sends all the forms to the correct place.
