What to claim in the State of Maine

My spouse was a resident of Texas for the whole of 2019. Do I have to claim money he withdrew from his 401K on my state return?

Yes, if you are filing Married Filing Jointly, that income needs to be claimed as Maine taxable income. You do however have an option within Turbo Tax to file your Maine return and Married Filing Separate. Try it and you can see for yourself which is more advantageous tax wise.
