I have had similar issues with information not transferring to the Missouri return correctly EVERY year. We enter interest, dividends, capital gains, US Obligation income and tax exempt income information to either myself, my spouse or jointly. Capital gains go over 100% to my husband and then I have to recalculate all the information. US Obligations that were part of a mutual fund all end up being assigned to me. Another issue is that the amount does not agree with what was allocated to that category. You can not determine what makes up the number. Says something like 1099s. As a result, it is not only not allocating the income properly between us, but in this case is overstating US Obligation income which in turn understates the Missouri income and related tax due. There should be a way to determine what comprises a summary number especially when it is not supported by the source input. Any way to report this error?
