It appears even though my South Carolina return was reported as "accepted" by TT, SCDOR has no record of my return or refund in their system. I have almost $10,000 in refund due and cannot find a way to resend my return or fix the apparently still messed up Direct Deposit issue. Any suggestions on how I can either resend or send a correction on the DD info? This is really disappointing for TT not to have this issue resolved.
If you follow the instructions here to check your e-file status, what does it show in Turbo Tax? @dewilhite
E-file status for both Fed and SC State shows as "accepted". But when I log in to SC Dept of Revenue to track the refund, it has no records that match my return. So, something is not right between the "accepted" and the actual refund processing.
Accepted in TurboTax just means they have received your return but not processed it yet. This is normal; until they start processing it on their, you won't find record of it when tracking on their website. If you contact the state or try look up your refund status, don't be surprised if they tell you "no record found."
Most states have some type of note on their refund tracking page that states how long processing may take. If there is no note there, no need to be alarmed.
