All seemingly went well, selecting to apply my overpayments to my next year estimated *if* I select scheduled estimated payments. but if i select not to schedule estimated payments it only takes a partial amount of the refund to apply for estimated payments (perhaps only a quarter of the refund?).
more strangely, if i select to schedule estimated payments for NY, when trying to efile it prompts how to make those payments, and if i choose 'pay later on the new york state site' it refuses to allow me to advance and e-file.
i can't help but feel this is yet another turbotax scheme to get me to use their payment system.
is there any work around or is it tome for me to return to H&R software?
Thank you!

if i cancel estimated payments then it refuses to let me apply the refund towards estimated payments.
it appears to be another year with turbo tax scamming customers.
when will it end.
manually edited using override, printed, and mailed.
worthless software. going to return it to costco.
