TurboTax will NOT accept $45 payment for my 2nd state!

I am using a TurboTax Deluxe (fully updated = current)  and I moved from NC to GA, GA is my primary state due to timing and income, so I completed GA ok.  then for my 2nd state (NC), TurboTax asked for $45 additional payment... no problem or so I thought!

However, TurboTax has a bug on the Buyer's "Address screen" - enter my address but the Screen does not show "Continue" button on bottom to move to the CC screen..  I talked with a TurboTax tech person for over 30 minutes and she tried to assist me in "shrinking" this screen to get to the bottom to "hit continue!", but no luck... you can shrink normal turbotax, but NOT the first payment screen.... thus I am locked out and frustrated, as TurboTax has literally all my NC information from doing Federal and Georgia....  frustrated!

I am sorry you are experiencing this issue. Are you using a Mac device? The issue where the payment button for the state return is not showing on the screen comes up occasionally with Mac computers. I have encountered it myself in the past, and resolved it by connecting a larger monitor to my Mac.

Another expert recommended the following to adjust font/text size:

How to Increase the Text Size on Your Mac

  1. Click the Apple icon in the top left corner.
  2. Select System Preferences.
  3. Select Displays.
  4. Click Scaled.
  5. Select a lower resolution. If you see icons with different sized previews of text, select the icon that says Larger Text and click OK.

Another description of this fix, adjusting the resolution on your screen, appears on this Apple Support page:

On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Displays in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Select the display you want to adjust, then select the resolution you want to use. You may be able to turn on “Show all resolutions” to see additional resolutions for the display.

Depending on how you adjust the resolution, some app windows may not fit entirely on the screen. Using a scaled resolution may affect performance.

In the alternative, you could try hooking up a separate monitor to your computer.
