I see some posts from prior years. But, I am having lot of issues with TurboTax for Business (Desktop) with filing State return for VA. Form 502 and 502 PTET have put me in a loop in the e file phase. I have deleted and redone the return twice. I have gotten rid of for 502A. I am even willing to get rid of 502 PTET but it wont let me. It gives me error on non resident stock holders because I have none and I say 0. It is a simple 1 person S Corp. Any help will be appreciated. It also gives me error on company name. Do you think 2022 software is not ready to file. If so, they should just say that instead of wasting my time.

There is a known issue in TurboTax Business regarding the VA 502PTET form. You can clear the nonresident owner information by following these steps:
This did not help. I did not have these items as red but I still did what you say. It gives me warning to check the product updates and highlights the company name. Then on Form 5o2 PTET and it does not accept 0 for number of fiduciary and non-resident owners. That is the start and possibly the end of the problem. I am the sole owner and live in VA at the same address as the company.
It would be helpful to have a TurboTax ".tax2022" file that is experiencing this issue.

Some Virginia TurboTax Business customers may be getting an error in review and on Form 502 PTET Line A about the number of nonresident owners. We are working to resolve this issue.

The issue with VA Form 502 PTET Line A setting the number of nonresident owners at zero which was causing an error was submitted to the product developers and it has been resolved.
