Any unemployment that you received after becoming a resident of SC would be taxable by SC.
I did not receive any unemployment in SC. I only received in VA. It shows that income received on my VA taxes and then shows the same amount on my SC taxes. I am wondering how to remove this from my SC.
South Carolina provides you a credit for taxes paid to another state. So, you need to look for that credit on your South Carolina return in TurboTax. So, if you pay tax in South Carolina on the income earned while in Virginia, you will get a deduction for that against your South Carolina tax.
