The state of Kansas took taxes from my income all 2023 and I didn’t work or live there and haven’t since 2022. How do I file to get the money back they took?

You file a non-resident KS return showing no income from KS.

I think you would file a state return with them and declare no earnings. I am super curious how they took money from you?
