State taxes for IL submitted electronically but missing the one of the W2's

I submitted taxes electronically to Illinois and federal.  the federal taxes processed fine.   Received a letter from Illinois stating I owed thousands.   When looking closer, only the withholding taxes from a small part time jobs made it thru.    The other job is a federal govt job.    Illinois staff told me the information was totally blank from the W2.   All information within Turbo tax is there.  The printed forms has all of the info  included.  Double checked the State ID on the form, in Turbo tax and on the printed form.    Is there some reason, one w2 would make it thru to Illinois, but not both?   Never had this issue before.

You will need to submit a copy of your W2 to the state. Sometimes the transfer process will have a hiccup with technology. It is rare but does happen. . I am sorry this happened to you. I remember back in the 90's when the IRS lost over a quarter million returns. Crazy things can happen!
