I would like to know if my state was filed it said my federal was and it gives me the federal amount but when I looked at my state it says zero but that's not true

State nay not be accepting returns until the IRS opens  on Jan 29.

Even if you filed your federal and state returns at the same time, your state may not start processing them at the same time as the IRS.

It's not unusual for state returns to remain in pending status several days after a federal return has been accepted. This is especially common when e-filing first opens in early February.
