STATE TAX RETURN REGARDING

I have applied for my NEW ITIN along with federal tax return(under married and filled jointly category). I had received my itin. Can i file my state tax return alone without filling federal tax electronically? (because already i have filled for federal tax return via paper in IRS directly)

Yes, you can file your state return but not electronically. You will have to mail it in. Due to new security measures, you can no longer e-file your state return without e-filing your federal return.

If you already mailed one in you cannot undo that. If you have not sent them in then you can change them both to efile.
