I am a Maryland resident, but only earned income in Maine ($9000+_) and Missouri ($550+_). Missouri does not require state tax filing if the Taxpayer earned less than $600. Why does Turbotax indicate that I should recieve refunds from both Maryland ($587) and Maine ($445)?

There could be several reasons.
If you had state tax withheld, you could get the state tax refunded, so if the tax withheld for Maine was excessive, you would get the excess as a Maine refund
As a resident of Maryland, you need to claim all your income. Even if no Maryland state tax was withheld, you may be getting a refundable Maryland State credit, such as the Maryland Earned Income Credit.
These are just possibilities, it is impossible to say the true reason without looking at your return.
You can look your return over to see were the refunds are coming from.
To preview your Form 1040 Tax Return including your state returns, using TurboTax Online, please select Tax Tools on the left side bar, then TOOLS from the drop-down that opens
(you may need to play with the scroll bar on the left side to see these options)
Next, select "View Tax Summary" on the Tools Center Screen
On the left side bar you can find "Preview my 1040"
Select "Preview my 1040"
If using TurboTax Desktop, simply switch to FORMS located at the top right corner (left on MAC)
