I am trying to figure out why it charged me $39.99 to do my state taxes and an additional $19.99 to e-file? In the past it just charged a fee to e-file State it didn't cost you to prepare State. This is ridiculous and costs MORE than what I paid for the Turbo Tax Deluxe Software I purchased!

on the left is a tab named, tools. a box drops down and nothing else says, tools. There is a history tab and it shows I purchased State. I knew that already, thank you?!? I think I got stung. I always buy the Deluxe Turbo Tax. Which I did do through Amazon. After finishing Federal It asked me if I wanted to do my State taxes. Then it sent me to turbo tax to download my state and pay $39.95. I thought at the time, Good lord they have doubled their State e-file charge and I thought it was ridiculous but I was already in the middle of my taxes so I did it. THEN, after finishing my States taxes then I was ready to file. THEN it wanted to charge me an additional $19.95 to e-file, which I thought I had already paid for earlier when it charged me $39.95. I haven't as of yet paid the $19.95 because I feel like I'm being ripped off. I want to know why we suddenly have to pay for State forms when in years past they have been included with the deluxe Turbo Tax we just had to pay an additional charge of $19.95 to e-file State if we chose.... So why are we now being charged an additional $39.95 to just prepare our State tax now??
One state download is included in the CD/Download version of TurboTax, not the Online version. You can purchase the TurboTax CD/Download version here.
