I paid estimated state taxes for 2020 online with FTB Webpay but Turbo Tax says it can't support e-filing without particular forms.  Is sending a printed copy of state taxes my only option?

What form(s) was TurboTax referring to?

You enter any state estimated taxes paid by doing a Search (upper right) for estimated taxes paid and clicking on the jump-to link (Mac users must find estimated taxes paid in the Topics List).

I have never heard of such an entry triggering a message to attach physical forms to the return.

So can you give us more information about this message asking you to attach forms? Was this in the Review? Was it in the Filing step?
