State stimulus check

On s.s.i. never filed taxes. Heard I can get the state stimulus checks but I never have. Can you help me?

State stimulus? Which state? Did you get the federal stimulus?

In order to file a state return, you would need to file a federal return. You will just enter your personal info, then you can enter your ssa-1099 and continue through to the end. In the federal review section it will ask you if you received the federal stimulus, if you did then enter the amount received, if you did not then enter $0.

After you go through your federal you will be taken to your state, you will just walk through the questions and answers for the state and then if you are eligible and in a state that is giving the stimulus with your return, TurboTax will add the stimulus amount to your return.

You will then just need to continue through and click transmit, wait for the confirmation of acceptance and then wait for your refund/stimulus payment.
