State returns still shows pending but deductions already taken out of bank account

My taxes were filed on 3/31, federal was accepted but my State (CA) tax return still shows pending. However, I checked my bank account and money have been deducted from my account on 4/1/19 as I had requested for state.  I am 2 days from April 15. Should I be worried?

No, you should not be worried.  Check your filing status now.  

"Pending" means your return is on its way and in the queue waiting for the government to accept or reject.  Due to the January Government shutdown and existing tax code changes, the process has been very slow.  IRS is trying to process and approve as quickly as they can but it is not moving as fast as we wish.
