Hello, my permanent residency is in Ohio, but I lived in PA for a year and worked there. When I am filing my state taxes it states that if I was a resident of Ohio and worked in PA you may need to change the wages to zero to claim a refund. What do I need to do because currently it has my state ID on my w-2’s as Ohio.

If you live in Ohio and work in PA, you are not required to file a PA return. If PA tax was mistakenly withheld, you will want to file PA for a refund.
PA and OH have a reciprocal agreement where they do not tax each other's residents. Your PA income should be zero.
Hi,
I have same situation, I have PA state ID but I worked and lived in Illinois state, so I filled tax return for Illinois state so but my tax return rejected and asking put Illinois ID, mine is PA ID and my wife does not work anywhere and she does not has any id, so but it is asking fill Illinois id for me and my wife, If I had Illinois ID, I would have already done by Credit Karma for free tax return but Turbo tax that I can put nay state Id but it rejected how I can fix it ?
According to Illinois State Gov if you are filing a Illinois Non-resident return for your very first time, you need to mail your Ill non-resident return by mail instead of efile. Please review this Illinois.gov link for further details.
