Showing an Ohio School District tax over payment. How do I get those funds back? not showing in my return.

My employer deducted School District taxes for a short period of time from the wrong school district. Now, that same amount is showing as an overpayment; however, as I look to complete my taxes, the overpayment is not showing in my return for the year.

Your employer must make the correction and refund you the overpayment, and they will have to file a corrected W2.  See 2024 Ohio Employer and School District Withholding Tax.
