We own a small business that had income and wife works a job. Why did we not qualify for the SC two wage earner deduction?

In order to qualify for the two wage earner credit in SC, there must be income reported for each person on the jointly filed return.
You mentioned that your wife works a job. If her income is reported on a W-2, then that would count as her income.
If the small business is showing an overall profit, then take a look at who that income is being attributed to on the Federal return. When you first enter information about a Schedule C business, one of the questions is who owns the business. If it shows that you own the business, then the Schedule C income should be attributed to you and you should qualify for the credit.
If you have checked these things and still need help to understand the situation, you can provide a diagnostic copy of your tax data file so someone can take a closer look. The diagnostic file will not contain personally identifiable information, only numbers related to your tax forms.
If you would like to provide us with the diagnostic file, follow the instructions below and post the token number along with which version of TurboTax you are using in a follow-up thread. It would be good to include a screenshot of the token number if possible so that it will not be redacted.
