Where is NY state itemized deduction worksheet?

I do not have the opportunity to itemized deductions on my NY state return why?

You should first fill in itemized deductions in the federal section.  Whether or not they are used for the federal return, they are automatically transferred to the state return.  Do, however, take a look at

for guidelines on what to expect.  I will fire up a dummy return and take a look at the rest of the NY income tax flow and get back with additional info.

Just ran through a dummy test and you do enter all those itemization expenses in the federal credits and deductions section, even those that are not deductions on your federal return.
