Where in Oklahoma State tax show where I can be exempt from state taxes?
Early in your Oklahoma interview, you will see the following screen (Adjustments to Federal Income):
In the first subsection, look for "Member of an Indian tribe living and working on tribal land: click on Start and you will be able to enter your tax exempt state income here.
Idaho
If your only income is earned on an Idaho reservation where you reside, then you don't have to file an Idaho tax return. If you have other income, you can exclude income earned on the reservation from your Idaho return. Complete the Idaho interview in TurboTax to identify what income to exclude. Idaho state law provides that:
A taxpayer who is an enrolled member of a federally recognized Indian tribe who resides on the reservation of the Coeur d’Alene tribe, the Kootenai tribe of Idaho, the Nez Perce tribe, the Shoshone-Bannock tribes of the Fort Hall reservation or the Shoshone-Paiute tribes of the Duck Valley reservation may deduct from taxable income an amount equal to the taxpayer’s income earned on the reservation of a tribe enumerated in this section, without regard to whether the reservation is the reservation of the tribe of which the taxpayer is an enrolled member.
