Testing different scenarios with state

I purchased “TurboTax Home and Business 2025” download for Windows PC Desktop.

I want to run a couple different scenarios, ie; (1) Personal Only, and then (2) add my small business.

Under Scenario (1), when I select the option to “See Amount” under Oregon at the top of the screen I get a popup window that says “Your copy of TurboTax includes one free state. Would you like to use your free state now?” If I select Yes, will I lose the free state option when I run scenario (2)?

I will actually submit my return electronically after I’ve finished with scenario (2).

The free state is not just for the tax return that you are working on. Once you install the free state you can use it for any tax returns that you prepare on that computer.
