I e-filed my CA tax return with authorization to debit my checking account for the tax due. How do I confirm that my filing was received by the CA Franchise Tax Board by the due date? As of today, I have not received a confirmation from Turbotax, nor has my checking account been debited.

Keep checking your bank account — if you still don't see the debit 7–10 days after your return has been accepted, contact your state tax agency

Thank you Helen C12 for your reply. My frustration is that I cannot confirm that my CA return was actually transmitted to the Franchise Tax Board. Can Turbotax check and let me know ?

You can log into your TurboTax account to determine the status of your tax returns.  If you have electronically filed, you will be able to check the status of your returns under the File menu.
