KEEPS SENDING ME BACK TO THIS DEDUCTION: I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO CHANGE OR WHY IT IS ENTERED. I HAVE GONE BACK TO DEDS SEVERAL TIMES. HELP!! WON'T LET ME FILE SAYS THERE IS SOMETHING IN THERE.

Yes, you can resolve that error, by deleting the Educator Expenses Worksheet. This may be a form that carried forward from a prior year.

If you are using TurboTax Online:

Open your return, scroll down to Tax Tools on the bottom of the left side menu.
Select Tools.
Click on Delete a form (third on the list at the bottom of the screen).
Find Educator Expenses Worksheet on the list of forms.
Click Delete to the right.
Confirm your Delete.
Scroll down and check for an Educator Expenses Worksheet under your state return.
Click Delete to the right.
Confirm your Delete.

I found the site, but the Educator Expenses Worksheet was not listed. I am filing in Virginia.

I am having the same issue - also in Virginia. When I went to the forms, it was not even on there to delete. Maybe just a glitch? Hopefully they fix it soon.

Seems like there are lots of threads of VA folks reporting this same issue - someone on the thread I started about this issue had heard that Turbotax had told them that it's a system error and will be resolved by "Monday evening," so I'm assuming that's 2/13? Who knows, but needless to say this is a massive headache for everyone trying to e-file in VA

In Virginia as well and still having issues. Tried to follow the instructions but couldn't find that as an option to delete. Please fix this!

I am in VA as well and getting the same error message. Go through tools and its not listed in either the federal or state forms. Guess this is an on going problem for VA.

I am having an issue with this it doesnt let me file and when I try to correct it doesn't let me. I also can not find the form to delete it.

I'm having the same issue... Like most of the people on here, I'm from Virginia... And that did not resolve anything, I didn't have the form.to delete on my page...
