Question on M1NR for one spouse part time and another spouse full time resident

Hello, I worked and stayed in two states - MN and TX while my spouse stayed and worked in MN all the year 2023. I am doing a Married filing jointly as that makes more sense from a tax saving perspective, however, when I review the M1NR section, the form has no option to declare that my spouse is a full year resident. If I still click on part time resident and still put the dates as 1/1/2023 to 12/31/2023, there is an error which says a part time resident cannot reside for the whole year (the error is sensible, but the logic is not). Could some help me fix this issue please?

Thank you.

Offhand, I'm not sure how to avoid that error and show the correct dates.

However, a work-around might be to enter 1/1/23 to 12/30/23.  Just be sure to allocate all of the income to the right state.
