NYS How to apply last year's tax credit

Hey everyone,

Last year when I filed my NYS tax, I accidentally chose to apply tax credit to 2020 year. I am now using turbotax premier to file 2020 tax. I hope to find a way to apply my 2019 NYS tax credit. Does anyone know how to do that?

In the Desktop software

When you get to the Deductions&Credits page

....scroll down to the Estimates & Other Taxes Paid section 

.......then go in at Other Income Taxes

.........then Start at 2019 refund applied to 2020 State taxes.

IF using the "Online" software.

The directions are very similar for the Deductions&Credits page...but some of the selection titles differ.... just a bit
