Thanks for confirming this issue. Having the same problem.
Nah, we ALREADY PAID our taxes and are just trying to get what we overpaid back! It's OUR money that the govt owes us.
Same issue here - "Not Eligible for Electronic Filing" for NJ state return because of a "Pass-Through Business Alternative Income Tax Credit"
However, I don't even claim that credit.
Can you post the product refund link so that we can all apply?
Same here. Nothing fancy in my return. Hoping it gets resolved asap.
I have the same message here I think it was after an update that was done today.
So is there any official word that it's a bug on their end and that it's bein handled or is this all conjecture?
I used the link to try and get the refund because of this debacle and they flat out denied it. unbelievable.
I'm getting the same error. Are you sure you can still e-file NJ with this error? Have you actually e-filed and got accepted?
By now, TT is well aware of the problem as some have alluded to based on their conversation with customer service. Updates and patches are sent periodically so we just need to give them a couple of days.
Yes, seeing the message. What now?? I suppose we wait for the fix from Intuit.
State of New Jersey told me today it is a TT bug. They suggested using the NJ Tax site filing software for free.
TTax agreed with them--it is a tech issue on their part.
If TT is agreeing with NJ to use their free filing site, then TT better start issuing the $20 filing fee they’ve already collected from us.
I am also receiving this issue. I am on the phone with turbo tax now and we will see if I get an answer to this problem. This is the first year I had problems filing my taxes.
