Trying to determine how I should be filing taxes. I live 100% of the time in CT. Company HQ is in NYC. I go to NYC office 6-10 times a year. I work out of small company office in CT. Do I pay any taxes in NY or just CT? Thanks

You are a resident of CT and a non-resident of NY. If the income you receive while working in NY exceeds the amounts in the chart below, you need to file a non-resident return. If it doesn't, you only have to file the resident CT return.
Non-resident individuals who receive New York source income are required to file if:
Federal filing status: New York AGI exceeds:
Single and can be claimed as a dependent on another person’s return .............................. $ 3,100
Single and cannot be claimed as a dependent on another person’s return .......................... $ 8,000
MFJ............................................................................................. $16,050
MFS............................................................................................ $ 8,000
HOH........................................................................................... $11,200
QW ............................................................................................. $16,050
When would I have to file returns in more than one state?
Here are New York's filing requirements for non-residents: https://www.tax.ny.gov/pit/file/nonresidents.htm
Remember that ALL your income is taxable by CT, regardless of where you earned it. The question is whether or not you also have to file a non-resident return in NY.
If you have to file in NY, you'll be able to take a credit on your CT return for taxes paid to NY - so you won't be double-taxed. (In that situation, be sure in TurboTax that you complete your non-resident tax return before you do your home state return.)
Thank you for your answer. There is no way for me to determine my income in NY. I simply go to our main office for bi-monthly internal company meeting.
