More NJ E-filing fails

Hi friends:

So I've already seen a few issues with NJ e-files failing to go through, and I have another to add to the pile...

I submitted my NJ state return a few days ago, and it came back with a big fat nope. The error message associated with the return read:

Reject Code NJ_PY_Retirement_Exc

Your New Jersey return hasn't been e-filed due to a pending product update to NJ 1040 Part Year resident return. This update is scheduled for release February 17, 2022. On or after that date, apply any product updates, revisit your state return for any errors and save (online products update & save automatically). After reviewing your state return, please re-transmit for efile.

Cool. Easy, well I waited until today, Feb 18th to file. I did it via the online portal, so the update should have been automatic. Same error. RIP to my big fat returns.

Anyone know if there's anything I can do on my end to make it work? Or should I just keep waiting and hope Turbotax gets it sorted out in a few days?

x

Had a similar error. Filed today mind you.  After resolving the BAIT  glitch  NJ return was rejected in 3 1/2 hours today stating form 1040 part-year resident will be updated 2/17.  Funny return was filed at 854AM EST on 2/18.  Resubmitted at about 1 PM today awaiting response if accepted.  Hoping that it is now 6 hours and that as the first rejection was quick maybe it is resolved.  Filed for my daughter she has no retirement income.or retirement exclusion.
