Hello,
I am working on my MO tax, and I found that my TurboTax Desktop 2023 still uses the tax calculation worksheet from 2022. I want to let the TurboTax know but don't know how to contact them, so I am leaving the message here. Please update the MO tax calculation accordingly.

Two things:
1. There was an update to Missouri (Desktop) today. Either close the desktop product and reopen it to download the updates, or go to Online (at the top) and click on Check for Updates (yes, I know it is ironic to go to "Online" for the desktop product). When I did this a few minutes ago, my MO tax due changed, which suggests that the tax calculation changed.
2. Where do you see a "MO tax calculation worksheet 2023"? On my test return, the state tax is calculated on the MO-1040, lines 29 to 36.

Thank you for your reply!
Once I updated it, now the tax due got updated as well.
I didn't find the worksheet on the TurboTax.
The MO tax calculation worksheet is in the MO-1040 instructions on page 26.
MO's marginal income tax rate for 2022 was 5.3%, which is now 4.95% for 2023.
The bracket is also slightly different.
Check this: https://www.efile.com/missouri-tax-brackets-rates-and-forms/
And the official page: https://dor.mo.gov/taxation/individual/tax-types/income/year-changes/
I am a bit disappointed that TurboTax does not apply very basic things when they release the draft versions, although the form says "Do Not File" on it for the draft versions.
