I'm getting a message that my Indiana return can't be filed electronically. Message is "Returns with local tax withholding greater than local wage shown on W-2 are not eligible for electronic filing." I have checked our W-2s multiple times, and the entered information is correct. There is no information in box 18-local wages, tips, etc. on any of the W-2s. I checked last year's documents and there wasn't any information in those boxes in 2019. There is information in box 19-local income tax, just as in 2019. I had no trouble e-filing last year. Can anyone help resolve this problem?
Thank you.

The error message you are getting indicates the amount of local withholdings exceeds the actual local earnings.
Does your W-2 form indicate the amount of your local wages anywhere else on the form?
If so, enter that information into box 18. If not, you should contact your employer to determine if there should be an amount in box 18 and if so, use the amount they provide to you to ensure your local taxes are calculated correctly if you have a reporting requirement for your state.
If not, you may need to delete your W-2 input and re-enter it as this also could rectify the issue if your W-2 form is reported correctly.
