e-filing issue with Virginia

Trying to e-file federal and 3 states (ND, AZ, VA) all at one time. Successful at entering bank information and PINS for federal, ND, AZ. When I get to VA, TT says "You are signing your return on paper. We'll take care of printing the form you need after you e-file."

I returned and re-reviewed all 4 returns. No errors. I verified that I selected e-file for all 4 returns.  Received the same error message.

I do NOT want to print and mail these returns, and do not plan to proceed until I can e-file all 4 together.

I am current with the latest updates to TT as of this morning (3/11/22). Updates to the AZ forms were downloaded this morning along with the program updates.

Help! I'm stuck!

e-filing issue with Virginia

Clarification:

While waiting for an answer to this question, I dug around the web. Somewhere I found a link to a page "State forms availability for Turbo Tax individual (personal) tax products."

So it listed (3) of my return's forms as unavailable for efile. (Form 760PY, Form Virginia Schedule of Income, and Schedule INC: Schedule of witholding and income). Yes, I was a part-year resident, moving out of state mid-year.

Can someone tell me if these three forms will eventually be available for e-filing? Or am I doomed to print and snail mail? (Would have been very helpful if TT would state *why* the e-file could not be done.)

Many thanks,

Believe it or not, some forms are not available for print or mailing even if they are available for efiling.

The IRS started this tax season pretty far behind.  That kind of delay flows down to the states.  So the IRS finalizes their forms and then the states finalize their forms.  And then the TurboTax programmers get the forms and have to integrate them into the TurboTax program.  Then there is testing to make sure that the newly added forms work with the program properly.  Then they are rolled out to the public.  As inconvenient as the waiting is, it will still get your tax return processed faster than paper filing it.

Here is the timeline for the release of state forms on TurboTax.
