DOR Its Payments

DOR Its Payments automatically deducted the payment out of my checking account but my TurboTax file said to mail in a coupon so now it's paid twice. I did not receive any message or notice to autopay the state of Indiana?

DOR Its Payments

If you have automatic payments set up with the state, you can toss the vouchers that printed in the trash.   They print whether you set up automatic payments or not.

DOR Its Payments

I owed a one-time $228 at year-end to Indiana and I don't make any quarterly payments (as I know those coupons are optional).  Why would TurboTax tell me to mail in a payment then (and this is the option that I selected), shouldn't it state that it would be paid electronically option?  Also, I've always just mailed in the coupon for Indiana at the end of year filing (for years) as I typically only owe less than $100 and this has never happened before.  I think this is something new and there was a glitch.
