I just checked ours through the state’s refund tracker and it also says needs further review. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long. TurboTax says it’s still Pending.
Mine also says further review needed on the nys site. I think I got the same message last year after it was first accepted.
Same - mine says further review needed on the nys site
Thank you everyone. I went on the NY Refund tracker and saw that they've received my return and it requires further review.
The two boxes do not show up, there is nothing about signing electronically. Only asks for the pin for both and that's it. I've now tried calling a few times and no one is able to help me.
I filed on Friday afternoon after getting rejected three times. Was pending up until today at 8ish pm and FINALLY today my state got accepted! Wishing everyone the best of luck and thanks to this thread I didn’t feel alone in the problem. Thanks TurboTax.
Mine was finally accepted too, just before 8 pm on Monday 2/9. I had resubmitted Thursday 2/5 a little after 8 pm.
Got accepted this morning after in Pending for days. Good luck!
They fixed the issue - if it fails again try one more time. Mine finally got accepted this morning after days in Pending (failed 4 times)
Got accepted this morning too! Thank you.
My NYS return was finally accepted Monday evening 2/10/25.
I'm curious if the folks from this thread whose returns were eventually accepted have actually gotten refunds? More than a month later, my NYS refund is still "processing." I'm trying to figure out if the TurboTax bug that prevented us from filing is now affecting the processing of our returns.
Same - nys accepted it around 2/1/26 and at first the message was it was being reviewed…. Then it switched to processing after about a week and had been that way since. I see on Reddit that a lot of people seem to be in this same situation.
Mine got approved yesterdat with ddd of tomorrow
