So I live in Missouri but work a full time job in the state of Kansas.
My wife and I have a couple businesses that we operate out of our home in Missouri.
I noticed that when I put my business income into TurboTax that it seems seems to change the amount we owe to Kansas
This can't be right can it?
What am I doing wrong here.
Our home address in turbotax says Missouri.
On the section that says, "Tell us about your business" I checked the box that says my home address is the same as my business

Verify that the income you are adding for the Missouri return is not being included in the Kansas return. There should be a form for Kansas that lists income taxed there. Look at your Schedule S page 2 part B . Hope this helps.
On Part B, B6 it shows 0 for Business income or loss for Kansas.
If that's truly the case then why do I owe more to KS when I put in my business income?
Most likely because Kansas is allocating deductions based on a percentage of Kansas income vs. total income.
I don't understand this.
Is this a turbotax issue or is the state of KS screwing me?
this is several hundred dollars, I can't go on a "most likely"
