You may be considered a part-year resident, but it depends on where you intend to live. 

According to Part-Year Resident in D-40 District of Columbia (DC) Individual Income Tax Forms and Instructions,

An individual is a part-year resident if he/she moves into or out of DC during the year with the intent to establish or abandon his/her domicile in DC.

Please read the Who is a Resident? portion of the booklet linked above to determine what your correct state is.
