Out-of-state sole-proprietor LLC with CA income, but MyFTB requires previous CA return to pay estimated taxes?

Not in CA but conducting services for a CA client. Just registered with CA SOS as an out-of-state LLC. I expect to pay the $800 franchise tax for having a LLC, plus estimated personal taxes since it's all pass-through, but I can't figure out how to do so.

1. Do I wait to receive CA SOS forms by email or mail before paying the $800 franchise tax? I've just filed and haven't seen any notices yet, nor do I know how to pay.

2. MyFTB website doesn't allow account creation without a pre-existing CA tax return, which I don't have, because I don't and have never lived in CA. How should I pay estimated taxes?

3. Since this will be my first year owing CA state tax due to client's CA location, do I just not pay estimated taxes and trust in safe harbor 6654 e.2? (https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/26/6654) Then file a return for 2025, pay CA personal taxes then, and pay estimated next year when I'm able to create a MyFTB account?

To anyone looking at this: thank you for your time.
