I'm an out of state resident, filing a MI tax return for income earned based on the nights I've stayed during business travel during travel. My employer has withheld MI tax on my W2 (box 17). The MI TurboTax form has calculated that I need to pay MI tax, but there is no field to report the tax already with held. I need help reporting the tax withheld, so it is applied against the taxes required.
Thank you.

When you enter your W-2 in the Federal section, TurboTax will transfer this information to your Michigan tax return. When you are in the Michigan tax return, you can view the Michigan tax summary to verify that the withheld taxes have been reported. (Click the screenshots below for reference.) Note: You will be prompted to enter the payer's employer identification number (EIN) during the Michigan tax interview if you didn't enter it on the W-2 screen.
