I do not live in Oklahoma, I live in another state. I have not worked or set foot in Oklahoma during 2020. I do, however, have oil revenue that is generated from within the state of Oklahoma. TT asks me to "enter the portion earned while a resident of Oklahoma" .... which is weird as I am filing a non-resident form. TT doesn't give me any other choice than to tell what I earned when a "resident". Suggestions?! Any thoughts are appreciated.

Be sure you indicated on the OK return that you were a full-year non-resident, and not a part-year resident.
Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be an option to indicate anything other than to use the non-resident tax form... so I will go a bit further and see how it comes out! Thank you so much for responding.
I can't find a work around for this, or how to enter my royalty payment that TurboTax did not import my 1099_MISC into OK state return.
Your royalty payment is on Sch E.
On the federal side:
You have to enter the location of the royalty payment. If it is from OK, it should have the OK location and the program should pull it in.
On the state side:
When the program asks about Oklahoma income on sch E, you have to enter the amount. Admittedly, it does not say royalty, but it does show the amount. The sch E is used for rental property primarily.
Thank you soooooooooo much. I was losing sleep over this. I am forever grateful!
