I'm looking to confirm I handled multiple state taxes (OH and NY) correctly….
I worked for one company in Ohio from Jan – May 2021. Then moved to NYC for a new job. Each employer deducted their corresponding state and local taxes on my W-2’s. There was no overlap in employment. Both Ohio and NY state returns are showing the combined NY and OH amounts for the adjusted gross income. Question about Ohio state taxes (form IT RC 2021): I entered my NY income amount as “portion of Ohio adjusted gross income that is subject to tax by another state” Is this correct? TIA

No, the IT RC is for income you earned in another state while you were an Ohio resident. Since you lived in the state where you worked for each part of the year, you do not include the NY income.
