NY State tax payment

I filed NY state return and couldn't e-file it, needs to be mailed. I entered payment information (checking account) in turbo tax for state tax. Should I send a separate check to state ?

NY State tax payment

If you selected to pay balance due from your checking account, and you will be mailing your return, you do not need to send a separate check to state. NY will withdraw taxes due from your bank account.
