Not sure which city form to file for Van Wert Ohio. I was given the option of RITA or CCA. Last year, I wasn't given an option. Has something changed?

I didn't see Van Wert on the RITA list.  I'm not even sure what the CCA is.  Have things changed concerning city filing?  Last year seemed so easy.  Can anyone shed some light on this?

The following wording at the city web site

"The City of Van Wert has initiated mandatory filing for all Van Wert City residents, regardless of where they work and whether or not they have been withheld by their employer."

makes me suspect that last year you were not required to file if your withholding was exact (a few cities, like Toledo & Cincinnati, have that rule). This year you are.

But to know for sure If anything has changed, you'll need to ask the city tax dept http://www.vanwert.org/income-tax-office.html.  Nothing has changed in TurboTax.

Van wert is not a member of either regional agency (RITA or CCA), so you cannot do a return in TurboTax without using a complicated work around.
So, you should contact the city for forms. You may be able to go to city hall and have them do the return.
