Seems like the process said that it would get back to how to submit this 1099-R to the state of PA, but it never did. The state accepted the efile submission without the 1099-R. Just need to know if they need a paper copy.

No, if you e-filed your tax return you are not required to mail the Form 1099-R to the state, you do however want to keep the form in your records.
