I'm not sure this will work in TurboTax Online, but give it a try.
To enter the Pass-Through Entity Tax Credit you have to start on the screen that says "Take a look at New York credits and taxes." You will come to this screen in the credits section of the New York interview. If you have already gone past that, then on the screen that says you finished your New York return, click the Update button for "Credits and other taxes."
On the screen that says "Take a look at New York credits and taxes," scroll down to the "Other Tax Credits" section and click the Start button for "Other Less Common Credits."
After answering the bribery question you will come to a screen called Uncommon Credits, which has a list of check boxes. As the note at the top of this screen says, TurboTax has limited support for these uncommon credits. You will have to fill out Form IT-653 by yourself. Check the box near the bottom of the list for "Claim for Pass-Through Entity Tax Credit (IT-653)" and click Continue. The next screen shows you an image of Form IT-653, which you have to fill out. Then click Continue. On the next screen enter the appropriate addback amount and click Continue.
The credit from Form IT-653 will be entered on Form IT-203-ATT line 12. The total from Form IT-203-ATT line 17 will flow to Form IT-203 line 61. The addback amount (if any) will be shown on Form IT-225 with code A-219 and the total additions from Part I of Form IT-225 will go to Form IT-203 line 22.
Your advice worked with the online version. Thanks for your assistance!
