New Jersey additions to income from federal

I understand that New Jersey asks for certain federal deductions (besides 401k contributions) to be added back. The NJ portion does not seem to copy all the W2 items automatically that may need to be added back, so which of the following should I make sure to add from my W2? I have amounts in box 10 (dependent care FSA) and box 12 have amounts with codes C, D, W (combines employer contributions to HSA and also my own payroll contributions - in case that makes a difference), and DD. Thanks!

NJ tax return does not do additions and subtractions.

Your NJ taxable income from wages is whatever your W-2 shows on Line 15.

The D and W amounts definitely get added back to New Jersey state income. On your W-2, is there an entry in box 17? Is it larger than the entry in box 1?

Please see this New Jersey screen about cafeteria plans and their treatment. Then you can ask your benefits people if the Dependent Care FSA, the life insurance premium (for more than $50,000 coverage - C in box 12), and your primary health insurance premiums (code DD) are considered Section 125 plans (I don't think some of them are).

But your benefits people and the payroll people should know.
