My State Wages and salaries (for New Jersey) do not match what is shown in W-2 It shows up as the combination of the State and Federal Wages in the NJ income

My state wages are 220,222.09 the federal wages are 210,759.40 Somehow the state wages are imported as 430,981 ...Can I manually enter my State wages?

My State Wages and salaries (for New Jersey) do not match what is shown in W-2 It shows up as the combination of the State and Federal Wages in the NJ income

On the NJ return, you will see a screen titled About Your W-2 State Wage Information.  Because of state programming requirements, TurboTax includes both income lines as part of the NJ income.  The next screen is titled Let's Confirm Your Taxable State Wages from (Employer).  If you see two boxes there, click on the one that does not say NJ to remove the excess wages.
